The Arts Centre houses an impressive theatre with internationally engineered acoustics with a capacity of 725 people in the Auditorium.
We also boast an Exhibition Gallery, a large Dance Studio, spacious music rehearsal facilities as well as other smaller music and drama areas.
The Arts Centre, as well as being available for outside commercial hire, provides our students with rehearsal and performance opportunities in a professional environment.
We have a busy programme of Jerudong International School productions and events as well as community events which take place in the Arts Centre.
Tickets for school productions are available via our Box Office at JIS and you can purchase tickets online for any designated public events.

Jerudong International School Arts Centre has hosted a wide range of performances since opening to the public in 2012. Recent school performances include We Will Rock You, William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet and Shrek JR. The Musical. Other recent events of note, include hosting Relentless Entertainment with their most collaboration with the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank performing 8 shows of The Influence(her) and the 3rd edition of the National Theatre Festival Brunei, to name just a few.

With a theatre-style set up facing the speaker’s podium and projection screen, 150 chairs can be accommodated.
This space can be hired on its own but is also often used as a break out space or for refreshments or VIPs when using the Auditorium or Foyer for larger-scale performances and events.

Whether you’re rehearsing for a theatre show, doing a group workshop, preparing for a competition or simply wish to showcase your dance moves together with friends in a private venue that you can hire for any purpose, then the Dance Studio may just be the space you’re looking for.
The Dance Studio is available for hire during the evenings and weekends and has been a popular venue for Dance Examinations as well as for rehearsals.

Jerudong International School utilises this space to host weekly lunchtime recitals, and to showcase smaller performances.
A changing display of Art and Design pieces, including those by Jerudong International School students, is located in the Art Gallery adjacent to the Foyer and Exhibition area.
You are also welcome to invite food vendors to set up food stalls in the Foyer, as part of large-scale events in the Auditorium and also for dinners, receptions and other functions. (We do have a vendor policy which we would request that you follow.)
The JIS Art Centre has excellent audio and visual capabilities. The staff at JIS Art Centre were also very helpful and accomodating, giving recommendations, very responsive and contributing to the overall success of the event.
Overall, the experience was very positive. People were comfortable and enjoyed the event. Those seeking to throw a major event similar to ours should be pleased to consider the JIS Art Centre as an ideal venue.
